New Initiative to Encourage Green Usage

GEEL Reduce the Use will provide initiatives, education, best practices regarding energy saving tips and rebates to help become more energy efficient.  Through GEEL's Reduce the Use & Sustainability Initiative we’re reinforcing our commitment to promoting more energy efficient lifestyles.  Through encouraging every potential customer to reduce their use of electricity, we’re demonstrating how small steps can lead to greater energy efficiency and over time, these small changes can result in significant savings.

While the lighting technology choices are endless, T5, T8, CFL… the solution is clear: switching to energy efficient lights saves energy and money. The bulbs may cost more upfront, but energy efficient lights last much longer than traditional bulbs and use significantly less energy to reduce costs in the long run.
